Skydrive App For Android Officially Launched

In the modern smartphone world physical storage is being faced out by cloud storages and one of the most well know ones are Dropbox, Skydrive, Google Drive and many more. Skydrive is a cloud based storage service by Microsoft and it is one of the free services which provides the most amount of storage which is 7GB. A few weeks back Microsoft said that the native app for android is in the works and will be coming out within a few weeks. The Skydrive app has been available in WP7 (Integrated into WP8) and iOS for sometime now and today it finally launches on android. The app itself looks similar to the Outlook.com and has a Metro UI Modern UI look to it. The app will have most of the Skydrive functionalities like opening files, uploading files and many more. The Skydrive app is now available in the Google Play Store, click here to download it.
