We are less than 3 weeks away from the rumored announcement of the Galaxy S IV. Just a few moments ago Sammobile reported that their insider has given them an unconfirmed official specs of Samsung's next gen Galaxy S device. As previously mentioned by some, Samsung will be ditching both their homegrown AMOLED and Exynos hardware in the Galaxy S IV. The processor will be swapped with a Snapdragon 600 for the Exynos 5 Octa which is reportedly having overheating issues. The Snapdragon however is the same processor as the one found in the HTC One but the one on the S IV is clocked 200MHz higher at 1.9GHz. Additionally the AMOLED screen is also swapped for a SoLux display. This screen swap could be because of Samsung having some manufacturing issued with the FHD AMOLED screens. Alongside the two main pieces of received by Sammobile by their insider they were also told that the Galaxy S IV will measure in at 140.1 X 71.8 X 7.7mm and will weigh in at 138 grams. The picture included with the information clearly shows that the device now more geometrical compared to the curves on the Galaxy S III. The presence of a physical home button is also confirmed.
