These days, smartphones are all the rage and talk. basically everywhere you go, you would surely encounter someone which is staring blankly into their smartphone screen and not paying attention to their surroundings.
Owning a phone in this era is quite normal because this communication tool is used to connect with each other. Smartphones however are beginning to become a norm in society mainly because the price and choice of smartphones are reaching to the point where everyone could afford one. I’ve always said that the core of the smartphone is not the ability to call or message someone but it’s the applications which become the centrepiece of a smartphone. Apps not only provides users with entertainment but it also expands the functionality of the smartphone. A few weeks back i stumbled upon this infographic by blogmost which shows what and how the smartphone ecosystem looks like today. There are some interesting facts stated here like, Angry Birds and Candy Crush Saga are not in the top 1 spot of top free games but Subway Surfers is actually the #1 most downloaded free game. The infographic also reveals a number of other stats about smartphones and app stores of the top 4 mobile operating systems.
