iTunes 11 Unleashed, A Whole New Cleaner And More Beautiful Interface

At WWDC this year besides unveiling Mountain Lion and iOS 6 Apple also announced iTunes 11 which will come this fall. The time has come and iTunes 11 can now be downloaded from the Apple website or via the Apple Software update program. Overall after using iTunes 11 for a brief while i found out that it has undergo some major visual changes and everything now is more cleaner and simpler. Gone is the right side bar which is now replaced by a tab on the left hand corner. The iTunes store also undergoed some visual changes and now has that touch of the iOS 6 app store with big cards.
Also the new software brings something called the mini player which can be toggled from the button on the upper left hand corner. It basically makes it into a small player which can browse songs and access the airplay functionality. Overall the experience is very good watch the video below by Senior Editor Jason Parker from CNET.

The Surface Pro will feature a core i5 CPU, a mini display port, a full size USB 3.0 port, a 10.6" 1920 X 1080 display and a stylus.

Infographic On Cell Phones Tells A Story We Never Heard Before, Phones Are Like Gold Mines

Frankly speaking we have seen quite a lot of infographics about the smartphone world and the mobile industry. Here is an infographic which shows us something about our cellular world. One of the eye catching points is that they state that there is an average of 3% of gold in a cell phone and if you sum up all the number of devices you will have over 26000 tonnes of gold. That translates into 1.1 trillion dollars in the US or the combined GDP of Switzerland, Greece and Egypt. Look below to find out more.

Deadmau5's Party Featuring The Lumia 920 Video

Yesterday Deadmau5 had a huge party in London at Flat Iron Square in Southwark, where using specially developed software, the buildings in the background came alive to a Deadmau5 set.  This is on par with last year's event held on the exact day this time around and also featuring the Lumia 920 instead of the Lumia 800. Here is a short video by NonNokTV with a Lumia 920 to prove the sound and video quality of a concert. Overall the sound and video quality is exceptionally good, to see some still shots NonNokTV has some images on their site

Microsoft Launches The Scroogled Campaign To Raise Awareness About The Bad Things Of Google Search, They Never Stop Trying

Microsoft is at it again with their campaigns and this time it is a campaign called scroogled. As the name is you might have found out that it has something to to with google, and yes it does. This holiday campaign will reveal the bad things google are doing. Click here to see the site.
You see, Google recently pulled down its “product search service” and replaced it with a “paid listing ads” service. Search for “Canon EOS” in Google Shopping and you receive pages that look like the old days, with “results” down the middle and ads mixed in. But the “results” are also ads. Every product offer within the shopping search results on that page paid to be there, and where and how high they appear is at least in part dependent on how much they paid. Meanwhile, at least one of biggest online retailers refused to pay Google’s new fee, so you won’t see any of their product offers and great holiday deals in shopping results.

[REVIEW] AdBlock Plus For Android, A Solid 7/10

The ad block plus app has finally landed on android and this is our full review of the app. First up you can download the app from the Google Play Store, the app is free and yes there is no ads in the app. This app however will only block ads via wifi for non rooted devices, but for rooted device the app will block ads over wifi and 3G. Other than that the app does everything the developers states there at the app page. Here below is some examples of what adblock can do for you when browsing the web on your phone.
So far i have been using the app for the past afternoon and there are some places where i am really frustrated with. First up is that the app is still not yet stable and in my time of use it crashed 3 times. Another thing is that it was unable to block the ads of some of my apps but when dealing with ad blocking on the browser it worked like a charm. The third thing i feel a bit uneasy with is the icon which stays on the notification bar, don't get me wrong on this its just that i like to have my taskbar as clean as possible and if the icon stays on the notification bar it often means it is draining battery in the background. These were just the problems which i am facing but other than that the app works very well in blocking the ads for coming in.
Finally i reached the verdict and gave this app a 7/10 score as being a very good performing app but there is still room for improvements. Read the whole scores below, this is also a 4 star app.

We browsing is the thing people do most on their desktop computer or their smartphone. One of the most popular extension available on many browsers is adblock. This browser extension basically covers all of the ads and make your browsing experience as clean as possible. We have long waited a mobile version for adblock and it is now finally available in the Google Play Store for free. Outlook.com Reached 25 Million User Mark In Less Than 4 Months

Earlier this year Microsoft launched the Outlook.com email service and this will eventually replace the existing hotmail email service. Outlook.com is really a redefined version of hotmail with a touch of the modern UI style with bright and block colors. With that said outlook.com managed to go from zero users to 25 million users in under 4 months. Microsoft's study also found that 4 out of 5 Gmail users wanted to switch to outlook.com after just spending 5 days with it. Personally i have been using Outlook.com for nearly 3 months now and i found the overall experience very good but sometimes the page tends to load pretty slow. The spam filter on the service is ultimately better than the one on Gmail based on my findings. With this goal reached the Redmond team has released an android app for it.

The new outlook.com email is designed to keep you connected with social network integration right in you inbox. Skype integration is said to come in the coming months. Microsoft also recently released an official outlook.com app for android but it is very bad in terms of design. It looks exactly like the hotmail app for android but the icons have just changed. We were hoping that the app will get some sort of metro like interface. To download the app click here
