Since the Galaxy S III came out the previous Samsung flagship phone the Galaxy S II has not received any major update by Samsung. The Galaxy S II is Samsung's 2011 flagship phone and when it launched it was one of the first devices to ustilise a dual core CPU, initially it came with Android 2.3 gingerbread and since then it has received its latest update which is Android 4.0.4 ICS. Also it has been long rumored to receive the Jellybean update since Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Note I Jellybean update. Today, SamMobile go their hands of the 4.1.2 ROM for the former flagship but this ROM is still in beta stage. This update is expected to be pushed out to users in December.
