Currently the Oppo Finder is the world's thinnest phone and it is only 6.65mm thick. Now a new phone called the Vivo X1 from Chinese BBK Electronics have claimed the title of the world's thinnest smartphone by having an overall thickness of 6.55mm. To comparison the iPhone 5 is 7.5mm thick and the Galaxy S III is 8.6mm thick. Impressively with this thin chassis the manufacturer managed to squeeze a 2000mAh battery into it. This device has a 4.7" 950X540 pixel screen, an 8MP camera, 16GB of storage, a 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM. The sound quality on this device is a selling point and provides clear sound. The device is running the least latest version of android 4.1 and is priced at 2500 yuan ($400).
