The Nexus 10 Is Now Official, Retina Display Screen Running Android 4.2

Just a few minutes ago we did an article on the Nexus 4 which is Google's flagship android phone. Alongside that Google also announced the Nexus 10 which is the first 10" tablet to bear the Nexus name. This tablet is made by Samsung and has a 10.1" screen with a 2560 X 1600 resolution and if you do the math it has a 300PPI which is more than the iPad 3/iPad 4. Google is calling this screen the True RGB real stripe PLS. The specs of this tablet include a dual core cortex A15 processor which is currently unspecified, quad core Mali T604 graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 5MP rear shooter, and a 9000mAh battery. This is one of the first devices to run Android 4.2. Other features of this awesome tablet include a micro USB port, a micro HDMI port, dual NFC chips front and back, dual front speakers and weighs in at 604g. One feature that the Nexus 10 has that differentiate it from the iPad is that it has multiple user support which is a new feature in Android 4.2. This tablet will come in 16GB or 32GB wifi models only and the 16GB variant will cost $399 and the 32GB will cost $499. These prices are around the iPad price points so it might take some sales from Apple. This tablet will be available in the Play Store on October 13th in the US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and Canada

AU Optronics Shows Off The Thinnest Bezel On A Screen

Currently the phone with the most edge to edge experience is the Motorola Droid Razr M for Verizon. Next year we are posed to see big companies like Samsung pursue the edge to edge display to furthermore narrow the body and phone to make the viewing experience even more vivid. AU Optronics have just shown off the screen with the thinnest bezel in the world and the bezel is just 1mm. The screen is sized at 4.46" and has a 720P resolution and picture look more immersive than ever. Additionally they also showcased their Advanced Hyper Viewing Angle Screen on the 4.97" AHVA screen which has a 1080P resolution. Finally they also showcase a 10" ultra slim display which has a 2560 X 1600 resolution and this display uses the IGZO technology to save power.

Samsung Nexus 10 Appears In A 5 Second Video

Although the event tomorrow is canceled we still can look forward to more leaks. Now here is a 5 sec video of the Nexus 10 made by Samsung. The video doesn't quite shows much it only shows how to launch chrome. The screen of the device looks to be quite share because it has a 2560 X 1600 resolution and a dual core exynos processor in it.

Nexus 10 Images Surface Online

A few days back there was a leaked manual of the Nexus 10. We are expecting to see the Nexus 10 being unveiled on Monday by Google at their special android event. Now there are some leaked images of the device and the site which leaked this said that it has a 10.1" screen with a 2560 X 1600 resolution, 2GB of RAM and a 1.7GHz Exynos 5 CPU. Don't be bummed if you don't see this on Monday.

Nexus 10 Sample Images Surface Online

Google is set to announce the Nexus 10 on Monday in the android event. The Nexus 10 will be made by Samsung and will have a killer resolution which translates into a higher PPI than the iPad 3. Google Plus head, Vic Gundotra has just uploaded some images of his travel. The interesting thing is that he took the picture on the Nexus 10. From the resolution of the picture the camera looks to be a 3.1MP camera. The images taken are truly amazing.

Nexus 10 Manual Leaks, Its Basically A Galaxy Note 10.1 With A Nexus Logo

Google is holding an event on October 29 in which they are expected to introduce the Nexus 4, Android 4.2, a 32GB Nexus 7 and a 10" Nexus tablet. In the past few weeks we have been hearing of it and Samsung was rumored to be manufacturing this tablet. The tablet is expected to sport a 2560 X 1600 resolution to compete with the iPad's retina display. Now there is a leak of the Nexus 10 manual which shows that there is the existence of the Nexus 10 tablet and it will be made by Samsung. As you can see from the image above the Nexus 10 looks like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Stay tuned for more news. We still can't confirm that Google will be unveiling this next week or at a later date.
