Zotac Geforce GTX 660 Ti Extreme Edition Gets Detailed

Last Monday Zotac unveiled their Geforce GTX 660 Ti Extreme Edition. Now we have more specs on this card and to start off this card is based on a totally non reference PCB design for better overclocking capabilities. The core clock is set at 1.1GHz and a boost clock of 1.2GHz as well as a 600MHz overclock on the memory and clocking in at 6.6GHz. This card is the 2GB variant and uses Hynix memory chips for better stability. This card has a 13+2 phase VRM which gets power from a 6 Pin ad 8 Pin connector. The PCB makes use of black solid state capacitors, International Rectifier GaNpowIR driver-MOSFETs, server-grade tantalumcapacitors, and FPCAP multi-phase capacitors and are driven by the CHiL CHL8318 VRM controller. This card also has their OC+ module for ease of overclocking. The cooling of this card comprises of dual 90mm fans and a large aluminum fin array which has a copper base and 5 heatpipes going through them. Pricing and availability of this card is yet to be known and is expected to be launching next month.

Zotac Geforce GTX 660 Ti Extreme Edition

Zotac has unveiled their GTX 660 Ti extreme edition and it will be aimed at extreme overclockers. Zotac factory overclocked the card to 1.1GHz which is 186MHz more than the reference card from Nvidia. like all Zotac Extreme Edition card this one also sports a custom PCB and has a dual fan design. This card has an 8+3+1 Phase VRM equipped with the bleeding edge International Rectifier GaNpowIR driver-MOSFETs, server-grade tantalumcapacitors, and FPCAP multi-phase capacitors, All driven by the CHiL CHL8318 VRM controller. All of the other specs are same like the reference GTX 660 Ti. The core is clocked at  1.1GHz and a whopping Boost clock of 1.202GHz,  the memory is overclocked to 6.6GHz from the 6GHz in the reference card. The dual fan design is accompanied by five 9mm heatpipes on a dense aluminum fin array. Zotac has also added a backplate and a PCB supporter in the box to prevent droop on the card. Displays out are the same as the reference GTX 660 Ti which are two DVI ports, single HDMI and Display Port. Like all GTX 660 Ti cards this is no exception and only supports up to 3-Way SLI. The power requirements of this card is a single 6 Pin and 8 Pin. Pricing and availability of this card is yet to be known.
