Zotac has unveiled their GTX 660 Ti extreme edition and it will be aimed at extreme overclockers. Zotac factory overclocked the card to 1.1GHz which is 186MHz more than the reference card from Nvidia. like all Zotac Extreme Edition card this one also sports a custom PCB and has a dual fan design. This card has an 8+3+1 Phase VRM equipped with the bleeding edge International Rectifier GaNpowIR driver-MOSFETs, server-grade tantalumcapacitors, and FPCAP multi-phase capacitors, All driven by the CHiL CHL8318 VRM controller. All of the other specs are same like the reference GTX 660 Ti. The core is clocked at 1.1GHz and a whopping Boost clock of 1.202GHz, the memory is overclocked to 6.6GHz from the 6GHz in the reference card. The dual fan design is accompanied by five 9mm heatpipes on a dense aluminum fin array. Zotac has also added a backplate and a PCB supporter in the box to prevent droop on the card. Displays out are the same as the reference GTX 660 Ti which are two DVI ports, single HDMI and Display Port. Like all GTX 660 Ti cards this is no exception and only supports up to 3-Way SLI. The power requirements of this card is a single 6 Pin and 8 Pin. Pricing and availability of this card is yet to be known.
