The Sony Xperia SL was destine to be unveiled in Sony's pre-IFA announcement and now it has now quietly unveiled itself in Sony's own website. This could mean that Sony wouldn't want us to focus more on the Xperia SL in their pre-IFA even which they are rumored to unveil new models like the Xperia T and Xperia TX and a new flagship model. Basically the Xperia SL is a bumped up version of the Xperia S, this move by Sony might be for the Jellybean update which in this faster hardware might run more stable. The processor which is a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260 and is now clocked at 1.7GHz from the 1.5GHz on the Xperia S. The specifications of the Xperia SL compared to the Xperia S is unchanged and still has the 4.3" display we love and know. The design of the whole device is unchanged but the bottom of the phone is changed a bit and now the bottom curves and slopes to the end, which is most probably for better gripping. The Xperia SL also comes in the grey color which was recently launched on the Xperia S. Click here to find out more on Sony's Website.
