Meet the biggest and baddest laptop out there, This is the first laptop in the world featuring the X79 express chipset and intel Core i7 and i7 Extreme. This is a workstation or gaming oriented laptop. That dosen't stop here future Intel Xeon processors will also be supported. This laptop can fit up to 4 hard drives/ SSD's in RAID 0/1/5/10. It sports a 17.3" Full HD 16:9, 1920x1080 displays, with choices of Matte, Glossy and 120Hz 3D matte. This laptop has full support for the X79 quad channel DDR3 1600MHz memory. This laptop is equipped with a Trusted Platform Module 1.2 (TPM), finger print reader and Kensington lock. For the graphics power this laptop has a few choices; for Nvidia GTX 580M, GTX560M; Quadro 5010M, 4000M, 3000M and for AMD, HD 6990M, HD6970M all of these cards have options for CrossFire or SLI. The Panther 4.0 comes complete with a built in emitter. The 120Hz 3D signal is outputted to an external monitor via DVI-DL (DVI Dual Link) port. For audio the Panther 4.0 is equipped with 7.1 channel audio output and supports headphone, microphone, S/PDIF and Line-in jack; this laptop also comes with a 3 watt subwoofer. Expansion wise the Panther 4.0 supports ExpressCard 54/34 for external and extra I/O ports as well as a Magma ExpressBox expansion. Magma ExpressBox1 allows a user to move half-length, heat-generating, or power hungry PCI Express cards outside the computer by providing dedicated power and cooling in an external enclosure. This Laptop is fully upgradeable and supports the best in mobile technology. With this in the market at 15 March Alienware might be set aside. Pricing is yet to be announced. Additional features of the Eurocom Panther 4.0 are 2MP FHD webcam; Bluetooth and WLAN; built-in 10/100/1000Mb Base-TX Ethernet LAN (Intel 82579V); Backlit Keyboard, and THX TruStudio Pro audio system for a truly immersive experience.
