Windows 8 Consumer Preview

Microsoft is having an event on the 29 of february which is at the Mobile World Congress.Windows 8 UI enables you a good level of customization, thus we expect to see more and more users moving the bottom tray to the left or right vertical arrangement. Given the shift from 5:4, 4:3 and 16:10 to a wide 16:9 format, we see this as a missed opportunity for Microsoft. The company could have just positioned the tray on the left or right and be gone with it. one of the saddest parts are that Windows 8 will not incorporate the Start button anymore.

In another story also about Windows 8, ARM will be powering desktops.

Sinofsky has confirmed that WOA will still feature a traditional desktop, putting an end to speculation regarding the matter. Most of the instantly recognizable OS applications that feature on the classic desktop will be available to use, including the File Explorer, as well as Internet Explorer 10 complete with hardware-accelerated HTML5 support. windows 8 for ARM will also come with office 15 apps.
