Galaxy Note II Tips And Tricks Episode 2 [How To Utilise The Multi View Feature]

The Galaxy Note II has one of the brightest screens around and the brightness can also be lowered to to quite a degree. But for some people this still won't do it so here is an app which you can download to help you further reduce the screen brightness of you Galaxy Note II. It is called screen filter and you can find it at the Google Play store. The next tip is the multi view feature on the Galaxy Note II, this is like the multitasking feature present in Windows 8. Currently this feature is exclusive to the Galaxy Note II but it will arrive to the Galaxy S III in December via the 4.1.2 update. To launch this feature just simply long press the back button and a tab will open on the side of your device (this feature might not be all Galaxy Note II's because the was a some of the devices shipped are not having this feature, Samsung said that they are releasing the update for devices which are affected). This feature works with quite some amount of apps and more apps are going to be supported since this is the early stages of it and the developers are just beginning to play with the SDK. Subscribe to my editor's YouTube channel to get your daily dose of the Galaxy Note II

iPhone 5 Rumor Roundup [Ep 2]

The iPhone 5 unveiling is not far from now, it is just 3 weeks away and the rumors are continuing to come out from the rumor mill. This week we started the week with a mockup of how landscape keyboard will look like on a 4" iPhone. Then the following day the smaller dock connector was leaked again. This time it was leaked with some images of the actual dock cable. According to the leak it will have a 16 pin connector which has 8 pins on both sides and that translates into a very small dock connector which midgets the USB cable. Soon after that the iPhone 5 motherboard leaked and it shows that Apple will indeed be using the nano SIM card. Nothing much else was revealed in the motherboard leak. Then on Monday the iPhone 5 thickness was measured and was only 7.6mm which translates to a 18% decrease in width, the measurement leak also re-confirmed the 4" display on the iPhone 5. Then on the following day the iPhone 5 launch date on AT&T was confirmed and is happening on the 21st of September which makes the September 12 launch highly plausible. After that the iPhone 5 rumors seemingly stopped. Check out the first episode of the iPhone 5 rumor roundup if you missed it.
