iPhone 5 Rumor Roundup [Ep 1]
In this series we will be doing rumors and news about the iPhone 5 and there will be a new episode every week. In each episode we will be doing a rumor list and a iPhone rumors and news area. The iPhone 5 is rumored to be unveiled next month on September 12, multiple sources have confirmed this date and these rumors say that apple will not only unveil the iPhone 5 and iOS 6 but they will also be unveiling the iPad Mini. One thing which we can say will be present in the iPhone 5 is a bigger screen to compete with other Flagship phones. Currently the rumors state that the iPhone 5 will come with a 4" screen which has a resolution of 1136 X 640 and a 16:9 aspect ratio for better multimedia consumption and many current iPhone users requested bigger screens. The next most popular rumor is the rumor of apple changing the 30 pin dock connector into a smaller dock connector so they can save some extra place for extra circuitry. To date there is many sources stating that the iPhone 5 will come with a 19 pin, 9 pin, and 8 pin dock connector, one thing which i can conclude from all of this is that apple is going to change the dock connector. The use of a nano SIM card is also one of the hot rumors which looks very plausible because apple was the one who designed it and if they implement it on the iPhone 5 they will be able to save some extra space. One of the most requested feature users wanted in iOS may finally come to iOS on the iPhone 5. Many users want an extra row of icons but it never came to iOS 6. Just recently a report stated that in the iOS emulator there are 4 rows of apps if you punch in the standard apple i device resolution but if you key in the rumored iPhone 5 resolution which is 1136 X 640, instantly you have 5 rows of app space. This is weird because it only works on that particular resolution now more nor less.
