Last week Samsung showed off their all new flagship device the Galaxy S4. The device is rocking the latest version of android and is sure to be the best selling android device this year. Well what do power users do with their device, they install custom ROMs and the most popular among the custom roms available to users is Cyanogenmod which is widely supporting a lot of devices with their software. Today, the team behind creating official CyanogenMod ROMs for the Samsung Galaxy flagship devices, Team Hacksung has said that no one from their team is planning to buy the S4 nor develop ROMs for it. They said that the problem is with bugs and the fact that Samsung does not releases all the source files for their Exynos processors. I'll be sure to write an article about this over the weekend.

Nobody at Team Hacksung (the team behind Galaxy S2, Note, S3, Note2, G Tabs… official CM ports) plans to buy it, neither develop for it. There are two variants which will be a pain to maintain, [and] the bugs we have on the S3 will probably be there on S4, too (camera), and we all know Samsung ability to release sources while staying in line with mainline. Yes Qualcomm releases sources, but Exynos sources we had were far from [working on] actual Galaxy products. I’m pretty sure the same will happen for this one. That’s a uniform “no” from us.
