iPhone 5 Panels Will Start Shipping This Month

There have been many rumors about the next gen iPhone and most of the rumors look to be true. Starting this year Sharp, LG and Sony were manufacturing Apple's display and replacing former maker Samsung. Today the president of sharp Takashi Okuda made brief announcement after releasing their quarterly earnings. He said that "Shipments will start in August" and this was the exact thing he said, he did not mention anything else. This means that production of the iPhone 5 will commence this month, the rumor that foxconn has started test production last month seems to be true. If the rumored September 12 launch for the iPhone 5 then Apple only has about 1 1/2 months left.
