Well it seems this week the news about the Galaxy S IV is coming everyday. Today a device with the model number of SCH-1545 appears at the nenamark 2 benchmark and if you see to which previous gen device has around the same model number, its the Verizon's Galaxy S3. The specs listed is a FHD screen, a 1.9GHz CPU, Adreno 320 graphics and android 4.2. Well this could just be a prototype device so take this as a grain of salt.

In this week there have been quite some news about the Galaxy S IV. Today the hype continues with an appearance of the Galaxy S IV in the antutu benchmark. The benchmark indicate that the S IV will indeed be using the recently announced Exynos 5 octa 8 core chip and will come with Android 4.2.1 when launched. Although the score the device managed to achieve was not very high but you have to understand that this is still most probably a prototype and Samsung is trying to test it out. As expected, Samsung did not debut the Galaxy S IV at CES this year. But one thing they did showcase is news processors and new displays which will be used in 2013. It does not take a genius to figure out that these parts are bound to be part of the Galaxy S IV. Take for example the exynos 5 octa, Samsung launched it and it is sure to be first used on the Galaxy S IV the similar thing happened last year with the exynos 4 quad which was announced 3 months before the Galaxy S III launch. Here is something that Samsung did not quite highlight, which is their FHD screen which has a 440PPI and measures in at 4.99". And as said it does not take a genius to figure out that this will be used in the Galaxy S IV. So stay tuned for this the next episode of rumor roundup which will come at the end of this week.

What we have here is an image received by Sammobile and its a tip from their insider at Samsung. They were tipped an image of the next gen Galaxy S device dubbed the Galaxy S IV. This image still can't be confirmed of its originality yet but it sure looks legit with no tricks up its sleeve. This design looks like the Galaxy S III and a bit like a scaled down Galaxy Note II. The picture also revealed that there is no longer capacitive and a physical home button present which means on screen soft keys. As usual the volume rocker is on the left with the lock key on the right. Above the device are the usual array of sensors and earpiece with a front facing camera.

With the success of the Galaxy S III this year, the next iteration of the Galaxy S series is sure to be a hit. The S IV is sure to be a big hit next year and is one of the most anticipated devices of 2013. you can check our news and rumors page dedicated to the S IV to get in touch with the latest news. One thins which is still not sure is the launch date which in many rumors point to either an April launch or CES or MWC launch. Well we are not expecting the S IV to come so early as CES 2013 because previous reports state that Samsung will not unveil anything smartphone related at CES. This news is backed up by a french publication Les Mobiles finding out that there is no representatives of Samsung France's mobile division which will go to CES next months and it is concluded that it there is no rep from their country then there will be no S IV announcement because France is amongst the biggest in Europe. This just reassured us the April launch which i stand firmly down.
