Last week at the 2012 year end party of HTC, Peter Chou the CEO of HTC chanted the M7 name and it was also caught on tape. Well at that time we concluded that there is a high possibility that the M7 is going to be the new flagship HTC device. Well today evleaks via twitter said that " HTC M7 coming to market as simply the HTC One". Well dont get me wrong about this but maybe the M7 was just the codename and HTC One was the market name. Given the numerous positive leaks by them i say that they might get a point there with the name. To recap the HTC M7 is a 4.7" FHD phone with a quad core processor, 2 gigs of RAM and will be allegedly launched on 19th February. We'll just have to wait and see.

HTC is somewhat hinting some new camera technology which will rival the 808Pureview in an official blog post about photography. On the very end of the blog post they said that they are kicking off a new sound and camera experience this year. They also quoted that the 808 Pureview with its 41MP sensor causes one reviewer to note that this wont help you at all. The device in which will debut this new experience by HTC is most probably the HTC M7. According to pocket-lint the camera on the M7 is no ordinary camera as it will feature ultra pixels. This pretty much means camera wars and we'll just have to see what Nokia has to reveal at MWC which is pureview related.
HTC is to use a new camera sensor on its much-rumoured HTC M7 smartphone, Pocket-lint can confirm, which will use what the company calls Ultrapixels. The new camera will instead be made up of three 4.3-megapixel sensor layers combined to give a resulting single image. Three lots of 4.3 may add up to around 13-megapixels, but images from HTC’s latest won’t be output at that larger size. The technique, similar to that used by Sigma in the Foveon X3 sensor, means that three lots of data can represent one final pixel. All that extra data can be intelligently “combined” to generate a crisper, cleaner image and – in the case of the Foveon sensor – better colour accuracy. The technique is also close to the way Nokia can handle image data with the camera in the 808 PureView, or Fujifilm’s EXR system in its compact cameras – but both companies opt for a more conventional sensor structure and use surrounding pixels to render one equivalent in a final image rather than the multiple-layered structure HTC is said to have opted for.

Well here is a seemingly similar move which HTC's CEO Peter Chou did. Apparently he was using the unannounced M7 at the company's year end party in Taipei. Above is an image of him using the camera, we could only catch a glimpse of the white back but the back does looks like the leaked images. Other than that he also somewhat confirmed the M7 name not by saying it but by repeatedly shouting it. Check out the video below after the break.

One thing which we will definitely see next month at MWC is the HTC M7. This device in the past week has been leaked quite extensively. The leak today is courtesy of etradesupply.com and they have gotten their hands on the front and back panel of the alleged M7. If this is turns our to be true than HTC has something going on because for the first time ever they are putting the charging connector on the top in an android device. They also got it right with an inclusion of a dedicated camera shutter button. The panel is 7cm wide and 13.7 cm tall. The back panel is the soft touch plastic with the sides being glossy black and the front is made of aluminum. The front panel is able to fit the rumored 4.7" which gives this leak a big plus. Overall this leak is pretty exact with info, but for full detail we'll just have to wait for HTC to officially announce it.

Late yesterday we showed you guys a leaked render of what apparently is the HTC M7. Well today, Android Police have gotten their hands on a leaked image of what looks like the HTC M7. This image looks picture perfect with the leaked render yesterday. So there are two possible outcomes to this; either that this is the real deal or both of the leaked info are faked. The leaked image today showed that HTC has got something wrong by the placement of the softkeys which seem to be wrong. Stay tuned to MWC at the end of next month to see this device in its full glory.

Pocketnow has apparently received an image of the HTC M7 which is set to debut at MWC next month. Previously there were some leaked renders of the device which just look not HTC like but the leaked render today looks to be in line with HTC design aspects. To give a little recap, the M7 is going to be HTC's 2013 flagship device packing not a 5" 1080P display but a 4.7" 1080P display. The M7 is also going to be the first device to be using the sense 5.0 skin alongside Android 4.2. Other specifications like the silicone have not be leaked yet. This leaked render today looks a lot like the HTC 8X from the back and on the front it looks like the HTC One series with a bit alterations.

As we are nearing the end of 2012 leaks of devices are starting to arrive in time for CES 2013. HTC is expected to refresh their flagship phone either at CES or the usual timing at MWC early next year. Well their flagship device next year is rumored to be called the M7 which will be having the same specifications as the Droid DNA and HTC Butterfly. The main star of the phone is obviously a full HD resolution which will be a norm in 2013 flagship phones. In the leak today it is revealed that the HTC M7 will feature a 1.7GHz quad core snapdragon processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, LTE, WLAN supporting a/b/g/n/ac, a 13MP rear shooter capable of 1080P video, a 2MP front facing camera capable of 1080P video, beats amplifier, stereo speaker, a 2,300 mAh battery and comes with Jellybean. The leak not only shows that the HTC M7 has a 1080P screen resolution but HTC is not fitting that pixes into a 5" display but going back to the One X's size of 4.7". That brings the overall pixel density to 468 PPI. It is also a pretty interesting fact that this phone not only supports the normai a/b/g/n wifi but also supports the new 802.11 ac standard.
