iPhone 5 Rumor Roundup [Ep 5] [Final Episode In This Series]

This is the last weekly iPhone 5 rumor roundup because Apple has sent out invitations for a September 12 event, we confirmed this date in the third episode. But we won't just stop in this very last episode we will be doing daily iPhone 5 rumor roundups starting tomorrow until the September 12 event which is just 5 days away. Okay now let's start with this week's biggest new which is Apple finally sent out invitations for a September 12 event at the Yerba Buena Center and the event will start at 10.00 AM. Following that 9To5Mac reported today that Apple has already started prepping the place for the event. On saturday there was a video which shows how the iPhone 5 would look like playing iOS games and apps. Then the next day the new Apple earphones was leaked, these earphones have a very weird design but has some features which are still unknown. At IFA 2012 there was an anonymous booth which showcases iPhone 5 mockups and comparisons between the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 5 was also up for bidding in china and starting from $5 you can get a iPhone 5 mockup. The iPhone 5 continued being leaked and a chinese teen idol posts images of him using the iPhone 5 on his weibo. The nano SIM card standard on the iPhone 5 has also been confirmed with a European carrier receiving nano SIM cards. Just a few days back the iPhone 5 packaging box was leaked and it showed that Apple will be naming their next gen iPhone the New iPhone rather than the iPhone 5. In the same time some a leaked screenshot of retailer's inventory which show that the ETA of the new iPhone is 21 of September. After that a survey was done by an online tech site shows the statistics of the percentage of users will buy the new iPhone and the percentage of users who don't care. We also posted a concept video of the new iPhone which is pretty cool. Soon after that iResQ leaked a full assembled iPhone 5 and compared it alongside the iPhone 4S. Finally we recently reported that the new iPhone's battery has been leaked and the new battery is now taller, thinner and has a higher voltage. iPhone 5 Battery Leak

The new iPhone is expected to unveiled next week at Apple's September 12 event. There has been many leaks of the new iPhone for the past week, if you want to see our full in depth thought of the new iPhone rumors check out our weekly rumor roundup. Now here is yet another leak which shows the new iPhone's battery. As expected the new iPhone's battery will be taller and weighs just 0.8 ounces opposed to iPhone 4S's battery which weighs 0.96 ounces. According to the leak the new iPhone will have a 5.45 watt-hour battery which has a voltage of 3.8 volts. If you compare between the iPhone 4S the battery capacity is still the same but this time the battery has a higher voltage. The higher voltage is supposedly used to charge the device faster and to keep the LTE and larger screen powered.

The New iPhone Concept Video

Apple is set to announce The New iPhone next week at their September 12 event and to date we have a few things we can confirm. The first is that the new iPhone will feature a 4" display with a resolution of 1136 X 640 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The new iPhone will also feature a unibody design and is only 7.6mm thick according to many sources. LTE is also confirmed for the new iPhone. iOS 6 will be featured on the new iPhone as well as a 5th row of apps. The New iPhone September 21 Launch Date Confirmed By Leaked Inventory Screenshot

Now that Apple has sent out invitations for the new iPhone's unveiling then the next thing we want to know is when will it be officially available. Previous rumors say that it will be officially launched on the 21st of September and this date was reconfirmed again by Verizon and AT&T blacking out holidays for its employees starting from September 21-30. And now we have yet another confirmation from a screenshot of a retailer's inventory where the estimated time of arrival (ETA) is set on September 21. We still can't confirm this 100% but we will know it when apple talks about the new iPhone next wednesday.

[CONFIRMED] Apples's Next Gen iPhone Will Be Called The New iPhone

Earlier today Apple sent out invitations for their September 12 event which is most probably going to feature the iPhone 5. All this time we have been saying that Apple's next gen iPhone will be called the iPhone 5 and now some leaks of the next gen iPhone boxes show that Apple will call their next gen iPhone the new iPhone. So if Apple names their next gen iPhone the new iPhone what does the 5 in their invitation mean. The five could either mean that Apple will be unveiling 5 other products other than the new iPhone or it could aso mean the 5 years since the introduction of the iPhone.
