Evga introduced their Z77 FTW motherboard today. This board is geared up for third generation processors (AKA Ivy Bridge) on the LGA 1155. This board feature five of PCI express lanes which is capable of running 4 way SLI and CrossfireX, all of the PCI express lanes are PCIE 3.0 with exception of an Ivy Bridge CPU. This board has intergrated USB 3.0 and Sata 6GBps by the intel Z77 chipset. This board also offers dual 8 pin CPU power connectors for maximum stability and extreme overclocking. There are also dual 6 pin power connectors for the PCI express slots, one power connector is used for multi-card stability whereas two power connectors are for extreme overclocking. A 7+1 Phase PWM, POSCAP Capacitors and a CPU socket with 300% increase in gold content deliver clean and stable power to your CPU. This board also supports oveclocks of memory up to 2133 MHz. This board is availible for pre-order at$329.99.
EVGA started of with its GeForce GTX 680 lineup with a bang. On its launch, EVGA showed off its first "Signature" cooling solution. That particular cooler is similar in design to NVIDIA's cooling solution (lateral-flow through aluminum channels). We're getting to know of yet another of EVGA's non-reference cooler designs for the GeForce GTX 680, the dual-fan Signature 2 cooler. The cooler uses two 80 mm fans that guide air through a complex heatsink below. The fans will spin at lower speeds to achieve similar/higher air-flow than the lateral-blower featured on other designs, and hence could end up being quieter.
Today EVGA announced the official launch of the first overclocked model of the GeForce GTX 680, The EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Superclocked. Other than this, EVGA is also preparing to launch several other models including its famous Hydro Copper Series, Classified Series and a 4GB FTW model of the GTX 680 GPU. The EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Superclocked features the Reference NVIDIA design but comes clocked at a stock core frequency of 1058 MHz (1006 MHz stock) and boost clock is maintained at 1113 MHz (1058 MHz Stock). The card packs 2GB of GDDR5 memory running along a 256-bit wide memory interface which is clocked at 6208 MHz (6008 MHz Stock). The card supports PCI-Express 3.0 bus interface, 3D Vision Surround and 4 Way SLI, and dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. The EVGA GeForce GTX 680 SC model costs $519.99. A model with the backplate equipped is also available for $529.99. The cards will hit markets real soon.
EVGA announced the launch of its new GeForce GTX 680 lineup consisting of five models which include EVGA SuperClocked, EVGA FTW, EVGA Classified and EVGA Hydro Copper GTX 680 variants. This card delivers truly game-changing performance that taps into the powerful new GeForce architecture to redefine smooth, seamless, lifelike gaming. It offers brand new, never before seen features that will redefine the way you think about performance graphics cards. Expect more from your graphics card than just state-of-the-art features and technology; get faster, smoother and a richer gaming experience with the EVGA GeForce GTX 680.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 680 graphics card features many new and key features:
NVIDIA SMX Engine – Brand new processing engine which delivers twice the performance/watt compared to previous generations
NVIDIA GPU Boost Technology – Dynamically maximizes clockspeeds to push performance to new levels and bring out the best in every game.
NVIDIA FXAA – Lightning fast anti-aliasing in a huge variety of games with the simple click of a mouse./li>
NVIDIA TXAA – Next generation anti-aliasing algorithm that delivers the image quality of 8X MSAA, with the performance hit of only 2xMSAA.
Adaptive Vertical Sync – Dynamically adjusts VSync to your monitors native refresh rate for the smoothest gameplay possible.
Frame Rate Target – Set a target Frame Rate with EVGA Precision X and your card will automatically adjust the power/performance to meet that target
NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround – Now supported on a single GPU, with up to three gaming monitors plus one accessory display!
PCI Express 3.0 – Offers double the bandwidth of PCI Express 2.0, for highest data transfer speeds. Also backwards compatible with all existing PCI Express motherboards.
In addition to the EVGA GeForce GTX 680, EVGA is also introducing a new version of its popular “Precision” overclocking software: EVGA Precision X. Designed from the ground up to support the latest GPU technologies, EVGA Precision X redefines what overclocking software should be. This program allows you to fine tune your EVGA graphics card, including GPU Clock speed, GPU Voltage, Memory Clock speed and Fan speed.
EVGA Precision X features many new and key features:
Brand New GUI – Built from the ground up for the next generation of graphics accelerators.
Advanced Hardware Monitoring – See GPU vitals in real time.
In Game Monitoring – See your GPU vitals, without leaving your game.
Frame Rate Target – GeForce GTX 680 will adjust power/clock dynamically to match set framerate.
Last week was cebit 2012. first in line is EVGA finally announced their Classified SR-X motherboard, this is a dual Xeon LGA 2011 motherboard. it has 7 pcie slots capable of 4 way SLI and CrossfireX. it also has a dual 6 phase PWM and has 12 DDR3 dimm slots.
MSI shown their full lineup of ivy bridge based motherboards. for now the MSI Z77-AGD80 is the most high end board they can offer. these motherboards feature military class iii components certified with MIL-STD-810G, OC Genie II, Clck Bios II and PCI Express 3.0
one of the killer features of the MSI Z77A-GD80 is the fact that there is a thunderbolt port which has transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s and can also be a display out
Meet the Asrock Extreme 11, this motherboard is the best board Asrock can give on the X79 chipset. this board has a 16+2 power phase design and a pair of 8 pin 12v power connector. has dual ehternet ports as well as molex power for PCI express lanes. this board has two PLX chips. 14 sata ports; 4 of them are sata 3, 6Gb/s. this board has 2 internal usb 3.0 headers with a total of 8 usb 3.0 ports including the ones at the rear I/O.
