Asus Unveils A Docking Station For The Nexus 7, Priced At $42

Accessories are always a welcoming item which will enhance or simplify the experience when using a device. Currently the only official accessory for the Nexus 7 from google is the covers and today Asus has just unveiled a docking station built for the Nexus 7 on their Japanese site and it look like the one leaked a few months back. The dock will go on sale by this month for the price of 3,480 yen or $42. The dock is meant to be used in landscape mode for viewing content and plugs in via the pogo pin dock present on the left side of the Nexus 7. The I/O of the dock include a microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a few conditions which must be fulfilled in order to use the dock; the dock only works with Android 4.2 installed and if you want to output audio from the audio jack built in the dock you must plug the dock to a power source.
