Low End Nexus 7 Spotted On GLBenchmark, Most Probably The $99 Nexus 7

The Nexus 7 is one of the most successful Nexus branded devices out there and it is also the one with the lowest price tag. Coming in at only $199 for the 16GB model it is good enough to compete with the Kindle Fire HD, iPad mini and the Nook HD. The Nexus 7 not only combines the vanilla up to date android updates but also packs a quad core processor. In the past few months there has been rumors that Google and Asus are planning to bring a $99 Nexus 7 which will most probably be introduced early next year alongside Android 5.0 Jellybean. GLBenchmark also proves the existence of an undentified tablet with a product code of ME172V. The specs include a 7" 1024 X 600 resolution screen a 1GHz processor, 1GB of storage which is expandable via the microSD card, and a 4270mAh battery. In the benchmark the device is seen running Android 4.1.1 which means that Google is still testing the hardware.
