Just a few weeks back Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer said that Microsoft will continue to make hardware and his words hinted to a windows phone 8 made by them. According to WSJ, Microsoft is said to be working with asian component suppliers to test the design of their smartphone. The company handling this duty however does not know when will this phone start mass production. This phone is currently being tested by Microsoft with screens in the 4"-5" range. The Verge also reported that this phone will not appear anytime sooner than next year because this is Microsoft's Plan B for Windows Phone 8 if it does fails. We will just have to wait till 2013 to see this phone.
