iPhone 5 Sales Exceed 5 Million Units In The Opening Weekend

The iPhone 5 started its first weekend sale last friday and in the 3 days Apple manged to sell over 5 million units across 9 countries at launch. The 9 countries include US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Australia. More countries will get the iPhone 5 this week and by the holiday season most countries will be getting the iPhone 5. Apple also said that over 100 million people have updated to iOS 6 in the past week and that accounts for 25% of all active iOS users.
