Yesterday Apple unveiled a few devices like the iPod Touch, iPhone 5 and iPod nano. Along with all these products is the new mini dock connector which Apple calls 'Lightning port'. One thing that this new dock connector does not have is a different standard which the EU Commission requires. Apple is expected to come up with a work around and the solution is called a Lightning to microUSB. The adapter is as big as a microUSB port and is nothing like the 30 pin to lightning connector. This connector is priced at 15 punds or 19 euros and will be available in the EU Apple store and is compatible with the products which have the new lightning dock connector.
