Google's Play Store Reaches The 25 Billion App Download Mark, Selected Apps Are On Sale

Earlier this year Apple's app store has reached 25 billion app downloads and since then we have been waiting for the Play Store to achieve that goal. Now the Play Store has just surpassed 25 billion app downloads. With over 1 million android devices activated every day this value is pretty easy for Google to achieve so it comes to no surprise. With this major achievement Google is doing something totally different from what Apple did earlier this year by awarding the 25 billionth app downloader with iTunes credit. Google is going to be offering selected apps for only $0.25 for 5 days only. Major app developers will also be discounted in this period. Additionally there will be special bundles up for sale like the 25 movies you must own, 25 banned books, 25 albums that changed the world and 25 top selling magazines. These offers and discounts will be available later in the day
