This week Sony released ICS updates for a few of its early 2012 models, among the devices being updated is the Xperia Sola. This is an entry level device, which has a dual core processor and a 3.7" screen. With the new ICS update for this device, Sony is introducing a new feature called glove mode. This mode enables you to use your device even when you are wearing gloves and this update comes just in time before winter arrives in some regions. The glove mode is an extension to their floating touch feature. The glove mode is something like the super sensitive screen on the Nokia Lumia 920. Watch the video below to see this feature in action.
