Computex 2012 [MSI] [5/6/2012]

MSI showcased quite a few motherboards this year at computex as well as the GTX 680 Lightning. If you have been following this site you would have known that last week MSI posted up some teaser photos of their upcoming Z77 motherboard. This motherboard is called the Z77 MPower which is part of the BigBang series of motherboards. The board has a black and yellow color scheme which matches perfectly with their lightning series card. Most of the features are similar to their Z77 motherboards. This board is powered by 16 phase PWM and has an 8-pin EPS power connector and an extra 6-pin power connector for the PCI-E lanes. This board has a  wifi and bluetooth module onboard; display outs include display port and HDMI. Finally if you look closely to the description next to the motherboard it states that OC in warranty, which apparently means if you fry your motherboard while overclocking the warranty will cover it.
Next is the X79 MPower which is the same as the Z77 but having the X79 chipset and LGA 2011 onboard as well as a extra pair of SATA 6G. The board has a 9+2 pahse power design; not much else info is given on this board.
Finally is the GTX 680 Lightning edition, this card is pretty similar to the 7970 Lightning card in terms of design. This card features the Twin Frozr IV cooler and Military Class III components. No specifications about this card have been revealed; the only thing we know is that it has the GK 104 chip with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. The card features then normal GTX 680 video outs ( Display Port, HDMI and 2 DVI ports), these connectors are all gold plated. In terms of power, this card has been bumped up from dual 6-pins to dual 8-pins for some serious overclocking; this card also feature the 3X3 voltage check points.
