The Nexus 7 is by far one of the most affordable and powerful 7" tablet around. Another good thing about the Nexus 7 is that is running the unaltered edition of android and it will receive updates as soon as a new android is released. But there is one thing which stops people from buying this tablet is the storage capacity, of course there is cloud storage but that brings us to another problem, the Nexus 7 is wifi only. Traditionally the Nexus lineup of device will not have a MicroSD card slot for expansion and the Nexus 7 continues that tradition. The Nexus 7 comes in the starting 8GB model for $199 and the 16GB model for $249. These prices are quite affordable but in reality 16GB of storage can be used up after putting a few hundred song, some video and installing some apps and don't get me starting about the 8GB model. In this past few weeks there have been leaked of a 32GB Nexus 7 and one customer in japan accidentally received a 32GB Nexus 7 when he ordered a 16GB model. That confirms the existence of the 32GB variant. Just recently google sent out invitations for an android event which is on October 29. Then today Engadget reported that they have a reconfirmation of the 32GB Nexus 7 and when it will go on sale. Apparently the 32GB Nexus 7 will be priced at $249 and will replace the 16GB version, so if you are planning to buy a Nexus 7 hold you horses for Ocotber 29. The 16GB Nexus 7 is expected to be priced at $199 and the 8GB model is allegedly expected to be priced at $99 or discontinued.
