Windows Phone Is Estimated To Hold About 7% Of The Russian Smartphone Market In 2012, Up 1% From 2011

Windows Phone has always been having low market shares but since the launch of Windows Phone 8 that has changed drastically because consumers are very excited about devices like the HTC 8X and the Lumia 920 which are very colorful. Russia's largest phone retailer, Euroset has revealed some numbers on the whole russian market which include 12-13 million smartphones. In the country, Nokia is believed to have taken 14.6% of the market in the November/December holiday period. In that 14.6%, 10.1% of them were the Lumia 920 which translates to around 15,000 units sold.
