Last year at a special event in June, Microsoft announced the Surface which will be a tablet lineup by Microsoft. In the launch event they announced both the Surface RT and Surface Pro. Since the Windows 8 launch in October the Surface RT has went on sales and the overall rating for it is pretty low and is said to be an overhyped device. Today, Microsoft has revealed the black and white on the Surface Pro availability, It will be launching on February 9 in the US and Canada. To recap the Surface Pro is the bigger brother of the Surface RT and will run the full version of Windows 8 which means existing applications like photoshop, and others will run normally. The specs of the Surface Pro include a 10.6" full HD screen, a core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, a full size USB 3.0 port, a microSD card, 64/128GB storage options, and a mini display port. Similar to the Surface RT, the Surface Pro also supports the touch or type cover. In addition to that the Surface Pro also comes with a pen which will enable better movement in the OS. Finally, the Surface Pro will start at $899 for the base 64GB model.
