LG Optimus G Pro Specs Revealed, A Significant Upgrade Over The First Generation

Last year LG announced the Optimus G which was a pretty beast of a device and it also became the reference spec sheet for the Nexus 4. Recently, LG also revealed that they sold 1 million units of the device. Last week at CES, LG hinted us to wait for MWC next month in which they are going to announce a new phone. At first thought we were expecting to see the Optimus G II which was rumored to be showcased at CES 2013. But now a leaked slide which a tipster gave engadget has spilled the beans about what LG will be announcing. According to the slide LG is going to announce the Optimus G Pro which will be a significant upgrade from the original. It will have a slightly overclocked 1.7GHz quad core processor, 2GB or RAM, 32GB of non expandable storage, a bumped up 3000mAh battery, and LTE. The device is also significantly thicker now with the larger battery at 10.1mm. The camera will be the 13MP one and the front facing camera has received an upgrade and is not at 3.4MP. This might be an NTT DoCoMo exclusive device
