Samsung Intros The Exynos 5 Octa, The World's First 8 Core Mobile Processor

Earlier today at Samsung's CES 2013 keynote they officially announced the Exynos 5 Octa which is the world's first 8 core mobile chip. This new chip will be using the ARM big.LITTLE concept in which the chip will use both the Cortex A15 and A7 architecture combined. Power consumption on this new chip is lowered with increased performance over previous gen chips and the chip is also built on the 28nm manufacturing process. During the keynote Samsung also showed some multitasking with the chip. This chip is expected to be powering the Galaxy S IV.
