On May Samsung announced the Galaxy S III at Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 and they announced that the phone will come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants. The 16GB and 32GB international model is now available but currently US carriers on have the 16GB variant. Yesterday Samsung UK retailer Expansys has cancelled its pre-orders of the 64GB Galaxy S III and makes us believe that Samsung might have axed the 64GB variant. Then today a company's spokesperson has stepped in to clarify the situation. Here's what he told Android Central about the Galaxy S III 64GB model being cancelled by retailers in Europe:
"The 64GB model of the GALAXY S III will be available during the second half of this year. The market availability and timing may vary and will be determined at the time of release."

So to all you Samsung Galaxy S III fans who is waiting eagerly for the 64GB version, Samsung promises it will come by 2H of 2012 but will only come to selected regions. So if you think that a 64GB micro SD card and 16GB of storage is not enough this SKU is for you. Samsung is yet to release the wireless charging kit which has been delayed and is coming in september according to what Samsung said at Mobile Unpacked 2012.
