Samsung Announcing Next Galaxy Device On August 15

The Samsung Galaxy S III has been released for about a month now and since that they have been pretty silent. But yesterday people over at TheVerge received a save-the-date from Samsung North America which is scheduled for wednesday August 15. They promised that there will be a major announcement and announcement of the newest Galaxy device. What we are speculating is the launch of the Galaxy Note 10.1 which was introduced at MWC earlier this year. I think that there is a high chance that it will be a tablet and not a smartphone. This is because samsung would want to compete with the nexus 7 and the upcoming kindle fire 2 as well as the iPad mini. Possibilities of them announcing the Galaxy Note 2 is shallow as the Galaxy S III has just been released just a while back an they would not want it to outshine the Galaxy S III.
