Apple Says The Purple Haze Affecting Photos Taken On The iPhone 5 Is Normal

The iPhone 5 has been facing some problems first it was the maps which showed inaccurate locations and just recently customers reported that some of their photos taken has gotten some purple haze. Here is an email by Apple support confronting this problem. 


Dear Matt,
Our engineering team just gave me this information and we recommend that you angle the camera awayfrom the bright light source when taking pictures. The purple flare in the image provided is considerednormal behavior for iPhone 5′s camera.
