Today Mark Zuckerberg announced on the facebook blog that Facebook has reached 1 billion active users monthly. Additionally he also said that since the launch of the like feature to facebook in 2009 it has received more than 1.13 trillion likes. 140.3 billion friend requests was made since the launch of facebook and 219 billion photos was uploaded in total. 17 billion loaction tagged posts and 62.6 million songs have been played a whopping 22 billion times. The average age for a Facebook user is around 22 years old and he top 5 countries using Facebook are Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico and US. Mark Zuckerberg added a personal note saying his gratitude to all facebook users:
