Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia finally announced their Windows Phone 8 devices today at their joint press event in NYC. This phone is Nokia's flagship WP8 device and has a 4.5" WXGA PureMotionHD+ display which is basically a much more advanced clear black display. This phone still has the signature curved glass display and is powere by a dual core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Krait processor which is better than most quad core processor in the market today. Along with this phone is an 8MP camera which is no ordinary one as it is a Pureview model. The reason why Nokia calls it a pureview model is because it has a new image stabilization technology which Nokia calls the floating lens. They claim that this stabilization is way more advanced than most high end digital cameras and blows the flagship smartphones away. The camera has a f/2.0 camera aperture for more brighter pictures. The shutter of this camera also opens longer than normal cameras to allow more light to pass through. The lumia 920 has LTE, NFC, 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and supports micro SIM cards. The lumia 920 still lacks micro SD card expansion but it might be there in the retail model. The Lumia 920 will support all the nokia softwares like nokia drive, nokia maps and many more. The Lumia 920 also has support for wireless charging and meats the Qi Standard for wireless charging so that it will be compatible with other wireless charging solutions. The Lumia 920 will come in 5 colors and will launch in Q4 2012, no pricing info is released yet.
